Over the past 15 years I’ve managed projects in logistics, manufacturing, and software development with organizations like NASA, the Canadian Armed Forces, tech startups, and the World Bank.
How things and people work—and how they work together—have fascinated me since I was a kid. That fascination led me to study mechanical (BASc) and then mining (MASc) engineering at the University of British Columbia, obtain my Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, and become certified as an Integral Facilitator.
Aside from being a PM, I’m a husband, dad, and caregiver. Although my wife, daughter, and mom don’t seem to care about the Jira issues I keep assigning to them.
Artificial Intelligence has been on my mind a lot since I started working at TTT, and I’d like to write more about machine learning, ethics, bias, and privacy. I also like bubble tea.
If you’re getting started in the world of project management and you’re based in the Vancouver area, check out my one-day project management fundamentals workshop.
